Apply for an Educational License

To request a License, please complete the form below, providing your contact and study details in full. Once you’ve filled in the form, you’ll be taken to our payment page to make the License payment of $15.99USD/$22.99AUD/£10.99GBP.

After your request is received, please allow up to 5 working days for your request to be reviewed. Please note, you won’t be charged until your request is approved. Once approved, you will be notified of your new serial number and download location via the email address you provided.

Important Notes- Please Read
  1. If you are planning to install this License again on the same computer… If you are planning to install this License on the same computer as a previous educational License, you must first uninstall the old version properly through your computer’s Control Panel. Please also ensure you select ‘No’ when prompted ‘Do you wish to keep the database?’. If these steps are not followed, the new License download will not work. This is only for educational License, not full purchased License.
  2. If you need to download again… (eg. your computer crashes) Students should be able to use the same serial number to reactivate the License once. If you need to reactivate more than once, and you have a reasonable reason, you can contact costx.education@rib-software.com to request the re-activation from your current serial number.
  3. If you have a Mac computer… RIB CostX® can only be used in a Windows environment. If you have a Mac computer, you can easily run Windows by either booting to Windows using Apple’s Boot Camp, or running in a virtual machine using Parallels or VMWare.
