A new version of RIB CostX^® is available!

Please Note

RIB CostX 7.3 is only available in 64-bit. If you are still using a 32-bit operating system, you must upgrade to the 64-bit version before installing RIB CostX 7.3.

Standalone/Portable Configuration Upgrade

Please Note: If you have multiple standalone licences in your office, please ensure all your licences are upgraded to ensure compatibility between versions.

Network Users

Network users can download the latest network downloads for RIB CostX^® here. A number of downloads are available including the RIB CostX^® Client, RIB CostX^® Server, RIB CostX^® Server Admin and RIB CostXL (optional). Please note RIB CostX^® Server must be updated before RIB CostX^® Client. We strongly recommend that you contact your system / network administrator before continuing with the upgrade. The administrator will need to co-ordinate the upgrade of both the RIB CostX^® server (first) and the RIB CostX^® clients as all users and the server must be on the same revision within the same major version before use.

Licence Type: Suitable for CostX, CostX 2D, CostX Takeoff and CostX Takeoff 2D. Suitable for standalone or portable licences, as well as network clients (a computer connected to the CostX Server).
Architecture: 64-bit. (CostX is only available in 64-bit version)
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. CostX 7.3 is only available in 64-bit. If you are still using a 32-bit operating system, you must upgrade to the 64-bit version before installing CostX 7.3.
2. CostX Network Client and CostX Server must be on the same revision within the same major version, and CostX Server should be installed before CostX Network Client. (each computer should be connected to the CostX Server)

* CostX Server Admin should be downloaded by IT administrators who need to remotely administer CostX Server without connecting to the server via remote desktop. Note that CostX Server Admin is installed on the server automatically as part of the CostX Server installer.

Architecture: This installer includes both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of CostXL. The installer will automatically install the correct architecture of CostXL to match your Excel architecture.
* Compatible with Excel 2013, 2016, 2019 and 2021.
NOTE: CostXL does not support Excel Online (part of Office Online), Excel 2013 on Demand installation (part of Office on Demand), Excel 2013 RT (part of Office RT on Windows RT), or Excel Mobile (part of the Office Mobile suite).

IMPORTANT NOTE:
CostXL is still available in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. However, CostXL 7.3 does not support opening drawings in the 32-bit version. If you still use Excel 32-bit and need to open drawings from CostXL, please ensure you have updated to 64-bit Excel.

This installer is for the new CostX OData compliant REST API, introduced with CostX version 7.3. This application is NOT required to operate CostX 7.3, however can be optionally downloaded and used to access your CostX data via API.

This installer is for the legacy CostX API. This application is NOT required to operate CostX 7.3, and is an optional download for existing users of the legacy API.

This installer is for CostX CPIXML Support. This is only required if you use CPIXML format files.
